In a world where speed is of the essence, there's less time for the many layers of editing that have traditionally stood between writers and readers. Most writers are not trained as editors, but anyone who writes has a facility for language that can be used to edit as well. This course will help you identify the impediments to self-editing and show you ways to overcome those obstacles. You will emerge with techniques to polish your prose and publish copy with fewer errors.

What Will I Learn:

In this course, you'll learn to:

  • Overcome the pitfalls of editing work that you have created
  • Check your work for clarity, organization and understanding
  • Find more errors in copy, whether of style, grammar, punctuation or flow
  • Correct errors more efficiently and effectively
Who should take this course:

Writers and editors who want to look critically at their work in a way that avoids typos, errors in logic, flow or organization, or other flaws that lead to miscommunication.
